Bruce Jones and Kris Barnes - CD Release Party at Longhorn Cavern!!

Kris and I would like to invite you to our first official CD RELEASE PARTY for our new ( and FIRST!) CD, "ROUGH TOUGH GAME"! We're really excited to have a record together, and we're kicking it off in style at the coolest venue in central Texas, the LONGHORN CAVERN at LONGHORN CAVERNS STATE PARK on Saturday, Aug. 30th. This is a wonderful place to hear music, because it is, in fact, a CAVE - no amps, no p.a., just natural cathedral acoustics. This is one of our favorite gigs.

It also turns out that, of my twelve original songs on the album, SIX of them are in the FINALS OF THE 2008 AUSTIN SONGWRITER'S GROUP SONG CONTEST!!! The winners will be announced in a couple of months, but our album will be ready in about three weeks, so here we go!

We hope you'll come see us and help us celebrate the release of this new cd.
